Hellfire on MySpace

An renowned eBay seller recently added a Perfect End 7" onto their listings for a massive $200.00.  Madness!!!  The last one we spotted on the site went for £14.50 so around £108.00 comes as a bit of a shock, although we realise it is a classic piece of Glasgow musical history.  We have been frantically searching our loftspace for long lost copies but to no avail.  See the madness here:

We have just managed to secure the sound of Where's Russell thanks to some dodgy old cassette tapes from the Hellfire Basement & some dinky mastering work from the magnificent Colin at La Chunky. So finally you can hear those Where's Russell sounds on their band page here!! As well as hearing them on our MySpace site

We have just came accross a site from Florida USA dedicated to Punk & Post Punk in Paisley Scotland. An absolutely fantastic site where we might see some of the Hellfire roster in the future due to the Perfect End Paisley/Renfrew link. So check this site out now... we know you'll love it!!

Hellfire are pleased to announce a merger with the fledgling Framingo Records. Hellfire will be the retro side of Framingo where late 70’s to late 80’s music will be released. The type of music Hellfire is looking for is by bands that maybe never had that quality recognition they deserved in their heyday. Perhaps you only released one single, which never received the airplay or distribution deal the music merited. Or perhaps that fantastic demo never saw the light of day before your band split up? Now is the time for that music to be re-released.

Hellfire is looking for old records, cassettes, demos etc that have been lying in a loft gathering dust, and perhaps thought lost forever. Now is the time to get that sound over to Hellfire and if we like it we may release it for the world to hear. Initially it is hoped to release compilation albums with perhaps 5 or 6 bands on each. That way everyone chosen gets two tracks aired with the possibility of a wider audience.

So get that music over to us a t Hellfire ASAP.
