AND THE WINNER IS ………..

After much deliberation, argument & general mucking around, FRAMINGO have now reached a final decision on this years SUMMMER COMPY! For those of you sitting with your breaths well & truly bated, the winner is CLARE BUTTON from the grand Weakest Link loving city of Swansea in North Wales. Well done Clare, the entire FRAMINGO back Catalogue, including a copy of each & every FRAMINGO release, together with sundry limited edition CDs & rarities & not forgetting the I-TUNES gift token are being despatched southwards as we live & breath! The winning entry to be placed beneath the snap of the legend that is IGGY POP reads:

“ Nobody believes me, it's just a healthy diet & early nights that keeps me in shape!”

Sadly, a great number of entries made reference to the bespeckled chap to the left of IGGY but our lawyers have suggested we refrain from publishing these in view of the said person's resemblance to some bloke who owns a large computer software company or something!

we are pleased to confirm the details of the FRAMINGO summer 2008 fabidoo competition! For those of you familiar with this type of thing , we have come up with another of our ever-popular caption competitions . The drill is pretty straightforward…. Below you will see a snap of soon-to -be pensioner IGGY POP pictured in full flow at this years ISLE OF WHITE mud fest. The punter who pens (in the opinion of FRAMINGO ) the wittiest caption will pick up the loot!

To this end, we are delighted to confirm that the main prize will consist of: COMPLETE FRAMINGO BACK CATALOGUE (MING 1-9), sundry FRAMINGO rarities, promos (including LJR & Skuzzies newies) and freebies all of which will be topped off with an I-TUNES gift voucher allowing you to download all FRAMINGO classics to your poddy thingy!! Unfortunate runners up will receive an individually numbered FRAMINGO vinyl single , a number of which have been changing hands for literally loads of pennies on E-BAY!!!

Framingo artists and employees are welcome to enter but will not win as that is patently unfair and the sort of thing that you can only really get away with without the cops being involved at ITV or the BBC!
