A collective sigh of relief all round at FRAMINGO Towers last week to greet the news of The Maryhill Magyars survival in the First Division. The football wasn't pretty this season…but we live on to fight another day ... And news of the requirement of much needed financial input at Maryhill has excited FRAMINGO execs into looking at possible sponsorship in some shape or form for the coming season!! ….. Despite encouraging sales of RIOT EYES/BURN BLONDIE BURN , things have been a tad tense at FRAMINGO TOWERS of late due largely to the dwindling form of the once mighty PARTICK THISTLE ….. And culminating in the (not) unexpected departure from the hot-seat of UNCLE FESTER CAMPBELL (below) Some denizens of Mayhill now fear the appearance of THE DARKNESS on the front cover of the NME is more likely than the JAGS escaping the dreaded r-e-l-e-g-a-t-i-o-n…. But fear not , our music loving compadres , for the cavalry has appeared over the horizon in the form of TERRY”TEL-BOY” BUTCHER (er..also pictured below!)… Oh Lordy! Can our nerves survive the next few weeks ? … Stay tuned ……..

…A year gone by and FRAMINGO now well established on the indie –label map! Five stunning releases , sell out gigs and growing relationships with ROUGH TRADE, BROAD STREET DIGITAL and a whole host of others…. Thanks to all concerned, you know who you are, but a special FRAMINGO cheers to FREW, PAKORA, ALI, NOREEN, RONAN, & COLIN, ROCKET MAN & all you others who have assisted in getting us this far…We have plans afoot for new signings & releases over the coming months so stay tuned, Pop Pickers…….
PS…. was it just us at FRAMINGO who noticed, or did anyone else out there witness the surreal sight on Sunday of around a 1000 tractors heading home down the A77 after JEFFERIE`S mob got murdered at the National Stadium? ….. Happy days xx

FRAMINGO are pleased to confirm that it's now all systems a go-go for the ACUTE RIOT release RIOT EYES/BURN BLONDIE BURN . Big Framingo apologies to all concerned re late delivery of the 7 inchers for reasons beyond our control in the Far East. Similarly, full download capability now being offered after initial teething glitches…. we are now in partnership with BROAD STREET DIGITAL who will be taking us under their wing as we go global in the download market… 'citing stuff we say!
…And we'd just like to nip in the bud these scurrilous rumours abounding the streets of Glasgow that we are delving into the BOYBAND market!!…. There's more chance of the FRAMINGO BROTHERS turning up bedecked in blue and white at some cabbage patch in Ayrshire supporting Ki#mar##ck!!… It is contrary to the FRAMINGO ethos to associate with the evil that is commercial pap pedalled by BARLOW* and his six-packed cronies!!05.03.07
Acute Vinyl Delay!!
A big sorry from Framingo to everyone who is looking for a vinyl copy of Riot Eyes this morning. Our supplier in the Czech Republic has informed us that due to political circumstances at border control the Riot vinyl has been held up for two weeks now. However after a couple of crisp five pound notes, a bottle of Buckfast & a signed copy of Nenas 99 Red Balloons the shipment has been passed through customs & is at this very moment on the Autobahn heading for Gdansk. Framingo have been reliably informed that it will be another 4 days before it reaches sanctuary in Cumbernauld & subsequently passed onto our retail outlets. In short all pre-orders will be sent out Saturday morning by first class post & shops will have their copies on Monday morning!!!
